industrial Use Districts prioritize the use of land for manufacturing, warehousing, and goods processing industries, while allowing commercial uses that support the needs of businesses and workers. residential and other sensitive uses are prohibited and the Use Districts include use standards ensuring protections for any residential or sensitive uses in the vicinity.

Sec. 5B.7.1. INDUSTRIAL 1 (I1)

A. Intent

the i1 District allows heavy commercial uses and light industrial uses as well as a limited amount of commercial activity. this District intends to support employment, goods movement, and warehousing.
