Los Altos Hills Municipal Code Ch. 7 Skates and Skateboards

No person shall skate or use or ride any roller skates or skateboard or other similar device in, upon, or around any public street or road or any pathway or pathway space, or any Town-owned property in the Town of Los Altos Hills.

In addition to the penalties provided in Section 1-2.01 of this Code, the Director of Public Safety, in the event of a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, may impound the skates, skateboard or other similar device used in such violation, which shall be returned to the owner under such reasonable conditions as may be established by the Director of Public Safety.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of an infraction. Any person convicted of an infraction under the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable for a first conviction by a fine of not more than $50, for a second conviction within a period of one year by a fine of not more than $100, and for a third or any subsequent conviction within a period of one year by a fine of not more than $250.
