The foregoing list of Tracts and Census Blocks constitute the FIRST COUNCIL DISTRICT, which is a downtown district that includes the Downtown, East Village, Magnolia District, Washington School, West Village, Willmore neighborhoods, and the majority of population in the Saint Mary's neighborhood. This district is inclusive of the eastern side of the Port of Long Beach (Port) including travel/entertainment destinations connected to the Downtown area. The Craftsman Village neighborhood and half of AOC7 are contained in this district along with the Museum of Latin American Art from the North Alamitos Beach neighborhood and the Pacific Island Ethnic Art Museum on the other side of Alamitos Blvd.

The foregoing list of Tracts and Census Blocks constitute the SECOND COUNCIL DISTRICT, which is a coastal district that includes the Alamitos Beach, North Alamitos Beach (except for the portion with the Museum of Latin American Art), Carrol Park, Bluff Heights, and Bluff Park neighborhoods. To the north, this

district includes the neighborhoods of Rose Park and Zaferia. The coastal portion of this district includes a significant LGBTQ+ community of interest, including the LGBTQ Center and annual Pride parade on Ocean Blvd from Alamitos Ave to Lindero Ave in the Bluff Park neighborhood.

The foregoing list of Tracts and Census Blocks constitute the THIRD COUNCIL DISTRICT, which is a coastal district that takes in the oceanfront communities from the City's Bluff Park, along Belmont Shore to the Peninsula and ending at the San Gabriel River. This district includes Naples, a community around the Marina, Alamitos Heights, Belmont Shore, Belmont Heights, Recreation Park, Bryant, and a portion of the Traffic Circle along Pacific Coast Highway which includes Community Hospital. This district includes a portion of the beach and has multiple parks, golf courses, and aquatic recreation.

The foregoing list of Tracts and Census Blocks constitute the NINTH COUNCIL DISTRICT, which is the northernmost district with a southern boundary of Artesia Blvd to the east and South Street to the west of the 710 Freeway and LA River. The neighborhoods in this district include DeForest Park, Hamilton, Houghton Park, Nehyam, McKinley, Ramona Park, Saint Francis, and Collins to the east and College Square, adjacent to Compton Community College, and Starr King neighborhoods to the west. This district includes a historic Black community and a high number of Latino residents. Residents in this district are connected by shared businesses, cultures, values, interests, and community activities.

As soon as practicable following the adoption of a final map of new councilmanic district boundaries by the Long Beach Independent Redistricting Commission pursuant to Article XXV of the City Charter, the City shall post and maintain such adopted map on an internet web page dedicated to redistricting for at least ten (10) years.
