2.24.010 - Desire to qualify for state aid.

The city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code, relative to peace officers' training fund.

2.24.020 - Adherence to state standards.

Pursuant to section 13522 of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code, the city while receiving aid from the state pursuant to such Chapter 1 will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the State Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training.

2.24.030 - Standards and training for corrections.

The city declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Chapter 5, Title 7, Part 3 of the California Penal Code, relative to Corrections Training Fund. While receiving any state aid pursuant to Article 3, commencing with Section 6040 of the California Penal Code, the city will adhere to the standards for selection and training established by the board of corrections.
