Larkspur Municipal Code Ch. 7.24 Hunting

Sections: 7.24.005 Hunting. 7.24.010 Permitting Dogs to Run Deer. 7.24.020 Allowing Certain Dogs at Large. 7.24.030 Penalty for Violation.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to individuals engaged in hunting activities during the periods authorized and in the manner authorized by the Fish and Game Code and the Administrative Code. (Ord. 1030 § 2(6), 2018; Ord. 924 § 3, 2003)

Every owner/guardian, claimant or keeper of any dog who suffers or permits such hound or hounds or other dogs to hunt, chase, course or kill deer in the County of Marin shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 1030 § 2(6), 2018; Ord. 924 § 3, 2003)

Every owner, claimant or keeper of any dog accustomed to or having the propensity to hunt, chase, course or kill deer who suffers or permits such hound or hounds or other dogs to go or run at large in the City of Larkspur shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 1030 § 2(6), 2018; Ord. 924 § 3, 2003)

Any person violating any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). (Ord. 1030 § 2(6), 2018; Ord. 924 § 3, 2003)
