Sec. 9-27A. - Arrest and Citation Powers Given to Certain Personnel of the Health…

27A.1 The following officers and employees of the Lake County Health Department are hereby given arrest and citation powers pursuant to Section 836.5 of the Penal Code:

(a) Lake County Health Officer.

(b) Health Department Administrator.

(c) Director of Environmental Health.

27A.2 The above-named officers and employees, designated in subsections (a) through (c), shall enforce the provisions of Article III of this chapter and all other laws relating to drinking water, food service, public and semipublic pools, organization camps, and underground and above-ground storage of hazardous materials.

The above-named officers and employees designated in subsection (d) shall enforce the provisions of Labor Code Section 6404.5 relating to the smoking of tobacco products.
