Sec. 8-5-1. - Adoption of the California Mechanical Code.¶
As adopted in section 8-1-12, the 2025 Edition of the California Mechanical Code, based on the 2024 Uniform Mechanical Code as published by the IAMPO, shall be the Mechanical Code of the city, regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances.
