Sec. 8-2-1 - Adoption of the California Electrical Code.¶
As adopted in section 8-1-12, the 2025 Edition of the California Electrical Code, based on the 2024 National Electrical Code as published by the National Fire Protection Association, shall be the Electrical Code of the city, regulating all installation, arrangement, alteration, repair, use and other operation of electrical wiring, connections, fixtures and other electrical appliances on premises within the city.
