Sec. 5-1-29. - Businesses requiring license.

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in, conduct, manage or carry on any of the following businesses, practices, professions or occupations within the city without first having obtained a license therefor in accordance with division 2 of this title:

(1) Reserved.

(2) Reserved.

(3) Bingo games.

(4) Business solicitor or canvasser.

(5) Reserved.

(6) Reserved.

(7) Reserved.

(8) Reserved.

(9) Mobile X-ray unit operator.

(10) Outdoor gathering.

(11) Pawnbroker, pawnshop, junk dealer, junk collector, secondhand dealer or coin-currency dealer.

(12) Peddler.

(13) Reserved.

(14) Pool room.

(15) Public bath, massagist or massage parlor.

(16) Public dance.

(17) Retail sale of concealable firearms.

(18) Security system or security officer.

(19) Show.

(20) Taxicab stand.

(21) Figure model studio and figure models.

(22) Dance studio and dance instructors.

(23) Rap session establishment and interlocutrices.

(24) Escort, escort bureau and introductory services.

(25) Sidewalk vending.

Sec. 5-1-30. - Multiple businesses.

This title shall apply to each and every business, trade, occupation, profession or practice enumerated in this title and conducted in the city, whether carried on individually or in conjunction with any other activity.
