Article 1 — Definitions

8-201 - General.

Unless otherwise specified or required by the context, the following terms have the following meanings in this chapter.

(a)

"Bicycle" means bicycle as defined in Section 21200 of the Vehicle Code of the State of California.

(b)

"Bicycle establishment" means a business wherein new or used bicycles or bicycle parts are bought, sold, traded, exchanged, bartered, repaired, remodeled, reconditioned, dismantled or junked, owned or operated by any person(s) who derive any income or benefit from the sale of six or more bicycles in any six-month period.

(c)

"Dealer" means the owner or operator of a bicycle establishment.
