La Verne Municipal Code Ch. 8.04 Adoption of County Health Code

The city adopts, by reference, and enacts into law, the Los Angeles County Health Code, Ordinance No. 7583, as adopted by the board of supervisors of the county of Los Angeles on August 25, 1959, and which became effective on September 25, 1959, and as amended to date by the following amending ordinances: Amending Ordinance Nos. 7616, 7674, 8095, 8200, 8284, 8425, 8588 and 8614.

A. The city adopts, by reference, and enacts into law, Los Angeles County Ordinance No. 9375, adopted by the board of supervisors of the county on July 11, 1967, said ordinance being an amendment to the county public health code, adopted by Section 8.04.010 of this chapter.

B. The city adopts, by reference, and enacts into law, the following county ordinances: Ordinance No. 9656, effective on November 1, 1968;

Ordinance No. 10,075, effective on October 2, 1970;

Ordinance No. 10,238, effective on April 23, 1971;

Ordinance No. 10,624, effective on January 5, 1973;

Ordinance No. 10,728, effective on September 14, 1973.

C. The city adopts, by reference, and enacts into law, Los Angeles County Health and Safety Code Chapter 11, Section 11.38, Part 2 entitled "Water and Water Wells" adopted by the board of supervisors of the county of Los Angeles by enactment of Ordinance No. 7583, Part 3, 1959; and amended by the following:

Ordinance No. 9375 in 1967;

Ordinance No. 10075 in 1970;

Ordinance No. 1192 in 1979; and

Ordinance No. 2018-0037 in 2018.

One copy of said Los Angeles Health and Safety Code Chapter 11, Section 11.38, Part 2 as amended, entitled "Water and Water Wells" has been deposited in the office of the city clerk of the city of La Verne and shall be at all times maintained by said city clerk for use and examination by the public.

Said ordinances are amendments to the county public health code, adopted by Section 8.04.010 of this chapter.

Ordinance No. 97-0071 of the county of Los Angeles is adopted and made a part of the La Verne Municipal Code. A copy of said ordinance shall be maintained on file by the city clerk.

Ordinance No. 2010-0045 of the County of Los Angeles is hereby adopted and made a part of the La Verne Municipal Code. A copy of said ordinance shall be maintained on file by the city clerk.
