11.02.340 TEMPORARY REFRESHMENT STAND.

"Temporary Refreshment Stand" means any food preparation or dispensing operation conducted in connection with a fair, circus, or public exhibition or gathering, or offering food for sale or gift to the general public for a temporary period of time in one location.

A temporary refreshment stand shall not operate for more than thirty (30) days. A temporary refreshment stand shall only operate in locations approved by the Health Officer. The Health Officer shall make an investigation of the premises, equipment and facilities to be used in the operation of the refreshment stand, and shall, when deemed necessary for the protection of public health, restrict the operation to the preparation and service of those foods which in his or her opinion would not be injurious to public health, when prepared and served with such facilities as the operator intends to use.
