10.04.010 - Construction materials

A. Purpose. Except as may otherwise be provided herein, the provisions of the 2018 edition of the "Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction"(SSPWC), prepared and promulgated by Public Works Standards, Inc. a California nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, whose members are the American Public Works Association, the Associated General Contractors of California, the Engineering Contractors' Association, the Southern California Contractors Association and BNI Publications, Inc., are adopted and applicable to all public works construction undertaken after the effective date of the ordinance from which this section derives.

B. Civil injunction. The violation of this section shall be and is hereby declared to be a public nuisance and contrary to the public interests and shall, at the discretion of the city, create a cause of action for injunctive relief.

C. Street repair standard. The street trench repair standard (ST1) is hereby adopted and supersedes the SSPWC street repair standard.

10.04.020 - Codes adopted.

The 2019 California Building Standards Code Title 24 as amended by the State of California, 2018 International Property Maintenance Code and 1997 Uniform Code for Abatement of Dangerous Building Code is hereby adopted and incorporated by this reference as though set forth in full, as part of the municipal rules and regulations of the City of Isleton.
