9.36.010 - Signs on highways prohibited—Exemptions.¶
A. No person shall erect, construct, place or maintain any signboard, billboard, sign or advertisement in or on any public highway of the city.
B. Nothing contained in subsection A of this section shall be construed to prohibit the erection or placing in any highway or mileposts, milboards, guideboards or guidepost, or the painting, posting, attaching or affixing of warning signs, notices or signboards, upon bridges, fences, buildings or other structures belonging to the city, under authority of the city council.

9.36.020 - Unlocking city-controlled locks, gates, etc. prohibited.¶
No person shall, unless authorized by the proper authority to do so, unlock in any manner any lock, gate, door or any other appurtenance, which lock, gate, door or other appurtenance is owned by or under the control of the city.
