13.08.010 - Definitions.¶
Whenever the words or phrases set forth in this chapter are used in this article, they shall have the meanings assigned to them in this chapter.

13.08.020 - Commission.¶
"Commission" means the Public Utilities Commission of the State.

13.08.030 - Person.¶
"Person" means and includes individuals, firms, corporations, partnerships and their agents and employees.

13.08.040 - Poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures.¶
"Poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structure" means poles, towers, supports, wires, conductors, guys, stubs, platforms, crossarms, braces, transformers, insulators, cutouts, switches, communication circuits, appliances, attachments and appurtenances located aboveground within a district and used or useful in supplying electric communication or similar or associated service.

13.08.050 - Underground utility district or district.¶
"Underground utility district" or "district" means an area in the city which is described in a resolution adopted pursuant to the provisions of Section 13.12.020, within which poles, overhead wires and associated overhead structures are prohibited.

13.08.060 - Utility.¶
"Utility" means all persons or entities supplying electric, communication or similar or associated service by means of electrical materials or devices.
