9.08.010 - Declared unlawful.

It is unlawful for any person to consume or possess an open container of any alcoholic beverage in or upon any public street, sidewalk, way, highway, roadway, place, or square, or to dispose of containers for such alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverages within or upon any public street, sidewalk, way, highway, roadway, place or square in the city.

9.08.020 - Violation—Penalty.

Any person found guilty of any of the provisions of this chapter or any portion thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500.00 or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months, or by both said fine and imprisonment.
