§ 1.20.010. Violation—Penalty/enforcement.

  • A. It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation, political subdivision, city or municipal corporation to violate or fail to comply with the terms and provisions of this code.

  • B. It is unlawful for any of the above-named to permit, allow, maintain, or to require the doing or maintaining of any act prohibited by this code, and each day's maintenance or violation shall be considered a separate offense. The commission, omission or maintenance of the aforesaid is a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine and imprisonment of five hundred dollars or six months, or both.

  • C. This code provision shall be subject to enforcement under Title 22 provided that Title 22 does not supersede nor limit the application of any code provision granting a department head, in his or her discretion, the power to apply a more stringent enforcement mechanism.
