Chapter 21.28 — SEVERABILITY

§ 21.28.010. Severability.

If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this title, as applied to any person, is for any reason held to be illegal, invalid, unconstitutional, or outside the jurisdiction and/or the police powers of the county of Inyo, as determined by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of this title as to other persons. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this title is for any reason held illegal, invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof. This title, and each section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase hereof, would have been enacted irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, or phrases be declared illegal, invalid, unconstitutional, or outside the jurisdiction and/or police powers of the county of Inyo as to certain entities or persons.
