§ 5.34.000. Tobacco retailers.¶

Pursuant to the California Cigarette and Tobacco Products Licensing Act of 2003, as further amended and expanded under the 2016 California Tobacco 21 Law and Proposition 56, all tobacco retailers who wish to sell tobacco products in the State of California are required to obtain a cigarette and tobacco products retailer's license through the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (formerly State Board of Equalization).
