§ 4-5.01. Adoption of County Fire Code.¶
There is hereby adopted as the Fire Code for the City, Ordinance No. 2010-0060 of the County of Los Angeles, which amends County Code Title 32, Fire Code, which adopted by reference the 2010 Edition of the California Fire Code. One copy of Los Angeles County Code Title 32, Fire Code, is on file in the office of the City Clerk. Said County Code is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as though set forth in this chapter in full and shall be known as the Fire Code for the City, subject, however, to any amendments, additions, and deletions set forth in this chapter.

§ 4-5.02. Enforcement of Fire Code.¶
The Fire Code shall be enforced by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

§ 4-5.03. Definitions.¶
"Chief" or "Fire Chief"
means the Los Angeles County Fire Department official primarily charged with control or extinguishment of any fire, enforcement of the Fire Code, or any other official duty related to fire prevention in the City.
"Jurisdiction"
means the City of Huntington Park.

§ 4-5.04. Establishment of limits of districts in which storage of flammable or…¶
(a) The limits referred to in Sections 7902.2.2.1 and 7904.2.5.4.2 of said Fire Code, in which the storage of flammable or combustible liquids in outside aboveground tanks is prohibited, are hereby established as follows: all areas of the City other than Zones M-2 and M-3 where storage is permitted subject to certain specified conditions.

§ 4-5.05. Establishment of limits of districts in which storage of liquefied petroleum…¶
The limits referred to in Section 8204.2 of said Fire Code, in which the storage of liquefied petroleum gas is restricted, are hereby established as follows: all areas of the City other than Zones M-2 and M-3 where storage is permitted subject to certain specified conditions.

§ 4-5.06. Establishment of limits of districts in which storage of explosives and…¶
The limits referred to in Section 7701.7.2 of said Fire Code, in which the storage of explosives and blasting agents is prohibited, are hereby established as follows: the entire City limits, unless express permission is granted by the Fire Chief and subject to such safety conditions as the Fire Chief may impose.

The limits referred to in Section 5204.5.2 of said Fire Code in which the storage of compressed natural gas is prohibited, are hereby established as follows: all areas of the City other than Zones M-2 and M-3 where storage is permitted subject to certain specified conditions.

§ 4-5.08. Violation of provisions.¶
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter or said Uniform Fire Code shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as set forth in Chapter 2 of Title 1 of this Code.
