83.1.1 Purpose.

The purpose of these regulations is to ensure that new oil and gas pipelines shall be sited in the

least environmentally damaging manner, and to provide for public review of proposed oil and gas pipelines and associated development. (Former Section CZ#A314-28(A))

83.1.2 Applicability.

These regulations shall apply in all zones in which the Oil and Gas Pipelines use type is

permitted. The installation, testing, and placement in service or the replacement of any necessary utility connection between an existing service facility and any development are exempt from these regulations. (Former Section CZ#A314-28(B))
