85.1 QUASI-PUBLIC STRUCTURES AND USES

Quasi-public uses, including public utility uses, shall be permitted in any U, AG, AE, R-4, C or M Zone without a Use Permit and in any other zone subject to the securing of a Use Permit, provided that outdoor telephone booths and public utility transmission and distribution lines, both overhead and underground, shall be permitted in any zone without limitation as to height and without the necessity of first obtaining a Use Permit. The routes of proposed overhead transmission lines shall be submitted to the Planning Commission for recommendation not less than thirty (30) days prior to the acquisition of rights-of-way therefor.
