§ 1.02.010. Date of general municipal election.¶

Pursuant to Government Code Section 36503.5(a)(1), the general municipal election for the city shall be held on the same date as the statewide general election which is currently the first Tuesday after the first Monday of November in each even-numbered year (Elections Code Section 2550).
