1.12.010 - Judicial review procedure.

The provisions of Section 1094.6 of the California Code of Civil Procedure, as such section may from time to time be amended, and any successor to such section containing substantially the same terms which may be enacted hereinafter, is adopted by the city and shall govern any and all judicial review of any decision of the city, including any decision of the city council or of any commission, board, task force, officer or agent thereof.

1.12.020 - Judicial review of administrative decisions.

Any adjudicatory administrative decision of the city made, after hearing, suspending, demoting or dismissing an officer or employee, or denying an application for any retirement benefit or allowance or denying an application for a permit or license, shall be subject to judicial review pursuant to Section 1094.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the state of California.

1.12.030 - Validity of action—Determination.

The city council may direct the city attorney to bring an action in the San Benito Superior Court pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure Sections 860, et seq., to determine the validity of any ordinance, resolution or other action taken by the city council, the redevelopment agency of the city of Hollister or the housing authority of the city of Hollister.
