§ 13.16.010. Supply for boilers, elevators and pumps.¶
No person shall draw water from the city mains or pipes directly into any stationary steam boiler, hydraulic elevator, power pump or similar apparatus. Where city water is used to supply a steam boiler, hydraulic elevator or power pump, the consumer shall provide a tank of sufficient capacity to afford a supply for at least twelve hours into which the service shall be discharged above the tank maximum water level.

§ 13.16.020. Waste of water.¶
Each and every consumer shall at all times maintain in good repair all his water pipes, faucets, valves, pumping fixtures and other water appliances to prevent waste of water. Where any consumer wilfully wastes water in any manner, or neglects to make such necessary repairs, the water may be shut off and sealed by the department and may not be turned on again until wasteful practices have been discontinued, or until repairs have been made to the satisfaction of the superintendent.

§ 13.16.030. Resale of water prohibited.¶
No consumer shall resell water furnished by the department without first obtaining in writing the express permission of the department to do so.
