§ 2.12.010. City clerk.

A bond or insurance shall be maintained by the city clerk in a reasonable amount recommended by the city attorney and fixed by the city council through a resolution in such sum as they may determine. The premium on such bond or insurance shall be paid by the city.

§ 2.12.020. City treasurer.

A bond or insurance shall be maintained by the city treasurer in a reasonable amount recommended by the city attorney and fixed by the city council through a resolution in such sum as they may determine. The premium on such bond or insurance shall be paid by the city.

§ 2.12.030. Director of finance.

A bond or insurance shall be maintained by the director of finance in a reasonable amount recommended by the city attorney and fixed by the city council through a resolution in such sum as they may determine. The premium on such bond or insurance shall be paid by the city.

§ 2.12.040. Master policy.

The bonding and insurance required to be maintained by officers may be met with a single master official bond covering all required employees.

§ 2.12.050. Crime insurance policy.

The city may substitute a government crime insurance policy or employee dishonesty insurance policy, including faithful performance, in lieu of the bonds otherwise required to be maintained by employees and specified officers.
