2.16.010 - Planning Agency—Establishment.

Pursuant to Government Code Section 65100, the City Council establishes a Planning Commission and designates the Planning Commission as the Planning Agency of the City.

2.16.020 - Composition—Terms.

The Planning Commission shall be composed of five members appointed by the City Council. Three members' terms shall expire on June 30, 2000, and two members' terms shall expire on June 30, 2002. Thereafter, all terms of members shall be four years.

2.16.030 - Removal.

All members of the Planning Commission shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council and may be removed at any time, with or without cause.

2.16.040 - Chairman and vice-chairman.

The Planning Commission, at its first meeting next following June 30th of each year, shall select one of its members to serve as chairman and one of its members to serve as vice-chairman.
