PROHIBITION OF CONVERSION OF MOBILEHOME RENTAL PARKS TO MOBILEHOME SUBDIVISIONS
§ 16.17.010. Findings. ¶
A. Mobilehome rental parks provide the most affordable single-family (detached) living units for lower income families in many instances.
B. Mobilehome park tenants have a substantial investment in their mobilehomes.
C. Because of the shortage of mobile-home rental park spaces, substantial economic and social hardships could occur for mobilehome park tenants who could not afford to purchase a lot as a result of conversion to a mobilehome condominium or subdivision.
D. Opportunities for mobilehome lot ownership in new developments are available through this title.

§ 16.17.020. Prohibition of Conversion of Mobilehome Rental Parks. ¶
Pursuant to the findings set forth above, the conversion of mobilehome rental parks to mobilehome subdivisions is hereby prohibited.
