Fremont Municipal Code Art. I Capital Improvement Fund

There is hereby established a “capital improvement fund” for the city. (Ord. 39 § 1. 1990 Code § 2-5100.)

The moneys in the capital improvement fund shall be used only for the acquisition of park and recreation areas, the acquisition of sites for public safety purposes and the erection of necessary facilities, the acquisition of sites and rights-of-way, the construction of other public works, and the necessary initial equipping of such parks, recreation areas, public safety facilities, and other public buildings. No moneys from such fund may be expended for the further equipping or current maintenance of any such facilities or buildings nor for the equipping or current maintenance of recreation areas, parks or other public facilities or buildings acquired prior to the adoption of this section.
