Foster City Municipal Code Ch. 12.04 General Provisions

The purpose of Chapters 12.04 through 12.36 is to regulate the use of the public buildings, grounds, parks, waters, dikes and related facilities of the city in order that all persons may enjoy and make use of such facilities and to protect the rights of those in the surrounding areas. No person shall enter, be or remain in any park or building of the city unless he complies with this code and regulations promulgated under Chapters 12.04 through 12.36. (Ord. 492 § 1, 2001: Ord. 81 § 1 (part), 1973: prior code § 6-203)

From the effective date of this ordinance, no public improvement including but not limited to, buildings, parks, sports fields, streets, pedways or plazas shall be named after an individual, group of individuals or organization. (Ord. 492 § 1, 2001)
