§ 16-122. Renting or maintaining amusement machines on public property prohibited.¶
No license shall be issued for the renting or maintaining of any amusement machine upon any public street or in or upon any publicly owned building or property in the city.

§ 16-123. Vending machines, devices.¶
No person shall maintain, operate or conduct or have in his possession or control, any vending machine which dispenses merchandise unless such vending machine delivers merchandise of the same kind, quality and value each time such machine is operated.

§ 16-124. Regulation of tobacco vending machines.¶
No person shall place or maintain any vending machine which dispenses any tobacco product in any place which is accessible to or open to persons under 18 years of age.

§ 16-125. Ice cream trucks.¶
Ice cream trucks shall be prohibited from vending any food or beverage on a street where the speed limit exceeds 25 miles per hour.

§ 16-126. Vehicle identification sticker.¶
A City of Escondido vehicle identification sticker is required to be displayed on each ice cream truck, taxi cab or other vehicle required to be licensed under this chapter doing business in the City of Escondido. The vehicle identification sticker must be displayed on, and attached to, the lower portion of the rear window of the vehicle on the driver's side. The sticker shall be available annually when the business license is applied for or renewed.
