The fire chief and duly appointed representatives of the fire chief are duly authorized, empowered and required to inspect from time to time as determined by the fire chief all buildings and premises other than dwellings and to order such changes or eliminations of hazardous conditions as may exist in violation of any city fire prevention ordinance. (Code 1957, § 4351; Ord. No. 2006-21, § 1, 6-7-06)
