Sec. 12.24.010. - Compliance required.¶
Any person who drives or knowingly causes to be driven any vehicle, except a school bus, either alone or in combination with other vehicles, the width of which exceeds the width limit specified in this chapter for the County highway, over the County highways specified in this chapter, when posted with width limit signs as required by this chapter, is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished according to the general penalties described in Chapter 1.24.

Sec. 12.24.020. - Exemptions.¶
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit any commercial vehicle from using any County highway by direct route to or from a State highway for the purpose of delivering or loading for transportation goods, wares or merchandise.

Sec. 12.24.030. - Signs.¶
The Director of Transportation shall cause to be posted and maintained at all entrances to a County highway or County bridge from County or State highways upon which a width limit has been established in this chapter a sign designating the width limit. The signs shall read "WIDTH LIMIT _____ INCHES," in letters not less than three inches high, and such other data as the Director of Transportation deems appropriate.
