§ 5.76.010. Definitions.¶
For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
"Trampoline"
means a device of canvas fabric or other material attached to a framework by springs, rubber coils or other elastic material, upon which a person can jump or otherwise perform tricks, stunts or acrobatics.
"Trampoline center"
means a place of business open to the public, having as its principal business the offering of the use of trampolines for a period of time for hire.
"Trampoline supervisor"
means a person over the age of eighteen years placed in charge of a trampoline center by its owner.

§ 5.76.020. Construction requirements for trampolines—Centers to be adequately lighted.¶
All trampolines used in a trampoline center shall at all times be maintained in a good state of repair. The framework of each trampoline shall be completely padded with sufficient padding to provide adequate safety. All trampoline pits shall be on level ground or terraced to provide a minimum level area of at least four feet on both sides and five feet on both ends, measured from the point at which springs are connected to the frame. The trampoline pits shall be a minimum of thirty-nine inches deep at the center and so constructed as to preclude the touching of the bottom while anyone is jumping, bouncing or tumbling upon or otherwise using the trampoline. The ground surrounding a trampoline shall be covered by a minimum of two inches of pea gravel on bare ground or three inches of pea gravel on blacktop or cement. The center of each trampoline shall be clearly marked with a cross or bull's-eye. Each trampoline center shall be surrounded by a fence of at least five feet in height or by any structure equivalent thereto. All trampoline centers operated after dark shall be adequately lighted.

§ 5.76.030. Regulations for use of trampolines.¶
No more than one person shall at any time use a trampoline. No person shall use a trampoline in a manner dangerous to others.
No persons shall interfere with the use of a trampoline by another.

§ 5.76.040. Supervision—Persons prohibited from use of trampolines.¶
A trampoline supervisor shall be on duty at all times in trampoline centers, and all trampolines shall be clearly visible to the supervisor. If the trampoline center contains more than twelve trampolines, there shall be an additional trampoline supervisor for each additional twelve trampolines, or fraction thereof.
A trampoline supervisor shall not allow any child four years of age or under to use a trampoline unless there is present and observing such child, the parent of such child or a responsible person designated by the parent. The trampoline supervisor shall not allow the use of trampolines by persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter.

§ 5.76.050. Insurance.¶
At all times during the operation of a trampoline center, the owner thereof shall have in full force and effect liability insurance for personal injury in the limits of at least one hundred thousand dollars for any one occurrence, with at least fifty thousand dollars for any one person per occurrence.
