8.52.450 - Misdemeanors.¶

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor. Each day such violation is committed or permitted to continue shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable as such. The provisions of this article shall not be construed as permitting conduct not prescribed in this chapter and shall not affect the enforceability of any other applicable provisions of law.

8.52.460 - Responsibility.¶

The primary responsibility for the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter shall be with the health officer. The chief of police may also enforce the provisions of this chapter in his/her area of responsibility as described in the interdepartmental noise enforcement responsibility and procedure document established under Section 8.52.300 of this chapter.
