§ 8.51.010. Purpose.

The purpose of this Chapter is to prevent the loss of housing units and displacement of lower income households. State law does not allow local agencies to approve new housing developments that include demolition of existing housing units unless the proposed development complies with the applicable replacement housing requirements.
