Sec. 16.04.010. - Sale, use, or discharge prohibited.

Notwithstanding any provisions of the county Code, as heretofore adopted by this city, it shall be unlawful for any person to sell, use, or discharge any fireworks within the city including, but not limited to, safe and sane fireworks, as that term is defined in Health and Safety Code § 12529, as the same may be amended from time to time hereafter.

Sec. 16.04.020. - Penalty for violation of chapter.

It shall be unlawful for any person to violate any provision, or to fail to comply with any of the requirements of this chapter. Any person violating any provision of this chapter, or failing to comply with any of its requirements, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished as provided in section 1.04.010 of this Code.
