2.32.010 - Established.¶

There is established for the benefit of the full-time employees and department heads of the city a retirement system. Such retirement system shall be in the manner and form established by resolution of the city council by contract with a duly authorized insurance carrier. A copy of such agreement shall at all times be on file with the city clerk. The system shall provide for partial payment of premiums by the city and partial deductions from gross salary, as may be established by resolution, and payments to the carrier shall be made from the "Salary and Wage Fund."
