7.34.10 Water Efficient Landscaping Standards

The Del Norte County Code incorporates, by this reference, the Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance, Chapter 2.7, Division 2, Title 23 of the California Code of Regulations as promulgated by the California Department of Water Resources, as may be amended.

Projects requiring adherence to the Ordinance shall demonstrate compliance with the requirements prior to issuance of building permits and prior to the commencement of any use subject to such requirements.

A copy of the most current version of the Model Water Efficient Landscape Ordinance (MWELO) shall be retained and on file at the Community Development Department for use by the public.
