§ 3.13.010. Construction on Public Projects.¶
Pursuant to Sections 22000 through 22045 of the California Public Contract Code, when using the alternative procedures authorized in this Chapter, the following shall apply:
(a) Definitions. For purposes of this Section, the terms "maintenance work" and "public projects" shall have the meanings provided in Section 22002 of the California Public Contract Code.
(b) Construction of public projects shall be per the dollar limits outlined in California Public Contract Code Section 22032.
(c) Maintenance work and other work which does not fall within the definition of "public projects," as defined in Section 22002 of the California Public Contract Code, may be let to contract by informal bidding procedures set forth in this Chapter.
(d) As to public projects only, if all bids received are in excess of the limits established in California Public Contract Code Section 22032, then Section 22034 of the California Public Contract Code shall apply.

§ 3.13.020. List of Qualified Contractors.¶
The City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, shall maintain a list of qualified contractors identified according to categories of work. Such list shall comply with the minimum criteria for development and maintenance of such list, as determined from time to time by the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Commission ("Commission") and in accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 22034.

§ 3.13.030. Notice of Bids.¶
Notice to contractors for informal bid work shall be provided in accordance with California Public Contract Code Section 22034.

§ 3.13.040. Delegation of Authority to Award Informal Contracts.¶
The City Council hereby delegates the authority to award informal bid contracts to the City Manager.
