Chapter 25›Article I — GENERAL PROVISIONS

§ 25-4. Denial of land division.

The city council, in the case of land divisions by tract map or parcel maps, and the director of public works or planning director in the case of lot line adjustments, shall deny said divisions of land if the said divisions do not comply with the provisions of this chapter, after considering any approved exceptions as provided herein. The council, director of public works or planning director shall also deny said divisions if they do not meet the provisions of state law regarding subdivisions, divisions of land, planning and environmental considerations, or fail to comply with the city's general plan.
