Covina Municipal Code Ch. 14.02 Adoption of Codes by Reference

The city adopts by reference and makes part of this chapter, subject to those certain amendments set forth in Chapters 14.04 through 14.10 of the CMC, the following Codes (one copy of each is on file for use and examination by the public in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Covina):

A. California Administrative Code (Part 1 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

B. California Building Code (Part 2 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition, including Volumes 1 and 2, and Appendices A, B, D, F, I, J, N, O and P;

C. California Residential Code (Part 2.5 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition, including Appendices AA, BB, BF, BG, BH, BI, BJ, BK, BL, BM, BN, BO, CI, and CJ;

D. California Electrical Code (Part 3 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

E. California Mechanical Code (Part 4 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

F. California Plumbing Code (Part 5 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

G. California Energy Code (Part 6 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

H. California Wildland-Urban Interface Code (Part 7 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

I. California Historical Building Code (Part 8 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

J. California Fire Code (Part 9 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

K. California Existing Building Code (Part 10 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;

L. California Green Building Standards Code (Part 11 of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations), 2025 Edition;
