1.04.010 - Penalty for violations.¶
(a) Except as set forth in subsection (b) below, or as otherwise provided for in the code, any person violating the mandatory requirements of this code is guilty of a misdemeanor. Any person convicted of a misdemeanor under this code shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period not to exceed six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
(b) Any person violating any of the provisions or failing to comply with any of the requirements of Title 18 of this code shall be guilty of an infraction. Penalties for infraction shall be as set forth in Government Code Section 36900.

1.04.020 - Power of arrest.¶
The town manager, planning director and building inspector are authorized to issue arrest citations to any person who violates any of the provisions of Title 18.

1.04.030 - Public nuisance.¶
Any violation of this code shall constitute a public nuisance. In addition to any other remedies provided in this chapter, the town may summarily abate and bring civil suit to enjoin or abate the violation.

1.04.035 - Administrative penalties.¶
Any person violating any of the provisions of this code or failing to comply with any of the requirements of this code shall be subject to administrative fines as set forth in Chapter 9.05 of Title 9 of this code.

1.04.040 - Separate offenses—Cumulative remedies.¶
Each and every day any violation of this code continues, is committed, or is permitted, shall be regarded as a new and separate offense. The remedies provided in this chapter shall be cumulative and not exclusive.
