Concord Municipal Code Art. IV Special Speed Zones

The City Council, on the basis of engineering and traffic surveys, has determined that the speeds permitted by state law, as applicable to the following streets, are different than those necessary for safe operation thereon, under the conditions found to exist on such streets, and it is hereby declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth on those streets or parts of streets within the city hereinafter designated when signs giving notice thereof have been erected upon those streets.

(1) Fifty-five miles per hour.

Willow Pass Road from State Highway 4 to a point 2,000 feet north of Lynwood Drive.

(2) Fifty miles per hour.

Kirker Pass Road from city limit to Myrtle Drive.

(3) Forty-five miles per hour.

Arnold Industrial Way from Port Chicago Highway to East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Aquaduct right-of-way (ROW).

Bailey Road from a point 2,500 feet northeast of Myrtle Drive to the city limit.

Crystyl Ranch Drive from Ygnacio Valley Road to Hiddencrest Court.

Kirker Pass Road from Myrtle Drive to Clayton Road.

Willow Pass Road from Lynwood Drive to a point 2,000 feet north of Lynwood Drive.

Ygnacio Valley Road from the west city limit to Ayers Road.

Ygnacio Valley Road from Ayers Road to Clayton Road.

(4) Forty miles per hour.

Avila Road from Willow Pass Road to the east city limits.

Clayton Road from Farm Bureau Road to Ygnacio Valley Road.

Concord Avenue from Market Street to the west city limits.

Marsh Drive from Solano Way to the city limits.

Port Chicago Highway from Olivera Road to Panoramic Drive.

Treat Boulevard from San Miguel Road to Clayton Road.
