No person shall do any of the following acts within the limits of any public park or recreation center:
§ 18-2.1. Animals.¶

No person shall bring, or cause to be brought in, any horse, goat, cat, fowl, or any other animal, excepting dogs which shall be permitted only when secured by a leash of not more than six feet in length and excepting such animals which are brought into any park or recreation center for the purposes of exhibition or otherwise, pursuant to a special permit granted as hereinafter set forth.
§ 18-2.2. Camping.¶

No person shall camp or lodge therein without a permit granted as hereinafter set forth.
§ 18-2.3. Damaging Plants.¶

No person shall cut, remove, or damage any tree, shrub, plant, wood, turf, rock, sand, gravel or earth, or pick any flowers without a special permit granted as hereinafter set forth.
§ 18-2.4. Fireworks.¶

No person shall bring therein, or set off any firecrackers or other fireworks without a special permit granted as set forth in Chapter 22, Fire Prevention and Protection.
§ 18-2.5. Games.¶

No person shall play or engage in any games, except at such places as shall be set apart especially for that purpose.
§ 18-2.6. Handbills or Circulars.¶

No person shall distribute any handbills or circulars or post, place or erect any bills, notices, paper, or advertising device or matter of any kind.
§ 18-2.7. Intoxicating Liquor.¶

No person shall do any of the following acts within the limits of any public park or recreation center: carry, sell or consume any intoxicating liquor except as may be approved by the Parks and Recreation Commission or by the City Council upon the recommendation of the City Manager. The applicant shall complete any and all application forms required by the City and provide proof of any required insurance coverage prior to the approval of the appropriate permit.
§ 18-2.8. Killing Animals.¶

No person shall wound, kill or catch or attempt to wound, kill or catch any bird, fowl, fish or other animal.
§ 18-2.9. Loitering After Closing Time.¶

No person shall enter, loiter, idle, wander, stroll, play or remain in any public park or recreation center at any time between 8:00 p.m. of any one day and 6:00 a.m. of the following day without a special permit granted as hereinafter set forth or as a participant in a City sponsored event.
§ 18-2.10. Loud, Boisterous Conduct.¶

No person shall indulge in any loud, boisterous conduct or use profane, vulgar, obscene or indecent language.
§ 18-2.11. Parking.¶

No person shall park automobiles or other vehicles except at such places as shall be set apart especially for that purpose.
§ 18-2.12. Rubbish.¶

No person shall throw or deposit any bottles, tin cans, broken glass, paper, rubbish, refuse or waste material of any land any place except in containers provided for such purpose.
§ 18-2.13. Selling.¶

No person shall sell any goods or anything whatsoever, excepting only upon special permit granted as hereinafter set forth.
§ 18-2.14. Soliciting Business.¶

No person shall practice, conduct or solicit for any trade, occupation, business or profession, charitable or religious association or organization without a special permit granted as hereinafter set forth.
§ 18-2.15. Speed Limit.¶

No person shall drive or operate any vehicle in excess of 15 miles per hour in any park.
§ 18-2.16. Swimming.¶

No person shall swim, bathe, wade in or pollute the waters of any fountain, pond, lake or stream. Wading shall be permitted in wading pools provided for the use of children.
§ 18-2.17. Vehicles.¶

No person shall propel any bicycle, automobile or other vehicle on any foot path or elsewhere than on the roads or drives provided for such purposes, or upon any drive or road when closed by chains or other barriers.
§ 18-2.18. Picnic Permit.¶

No company, society, organization or group of 20 or more persons shall hold or conduct any picnic in any public park without a special permit granted as hereinafter set forth.
§ 18-2.19. Loitering, Disturbances.¶

No person shall loiter in the approaches adjacent to any auditorium or community building within any park, or disturb in any manner whatsoever any meeting, service, concert or exhibition while the same is in progress.
