§ 14-9. REGISTRATION OF GROUP HOMES AND HALFWAY HOUSES.

a. The City of Compton shall now and hereafter require the State Department of Social Services and the license of group homes and halfway houses to register all such facilities located in the City of Compton with the Planning Department.

b. The City's Fire Marshal shall inspect the facility and ascertain whether or not it will meet the Fire Code.

c. This action is taken for information purposes only. It is not a licensing requirement and in no way shall interfere with Section 1566.3 of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California.
