Chapter 10.32 — THROUGH STREETS

10.32.010 - Erecting stop signs.

Whenever any ordinance or resolution of the city designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a through street, or any intersection at which vehicles are required to stop at one or more entrances thereto, or any railroad grade crossing at which vehicles are required to stop, the director shall be authorized to erect and maintain "STOP" signs pursuant to the vehicle code, and state and uniform industry standards, including, but not limited to, the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, or as directed by city council.
