12.28.010 - Definitions.¶
"Adult Grave" means all other sites not defined herein as child or baby or Cremations.
"Baby Grave" or "Cremation" means a site, the length of which does not exceed four feet.
"Burial Space" and "Grave" are synonymous and mean a single Plot of ground suitable and Designated as and for the location of a burial site of human remains.
"Child Grave" means a site, the length of which Shall not be less than four feet nor more than six feet.
"Endowment Care Fund" means that certain fund created for the care, maintenance and embellishment of Hermosa Cemetery.
"Lots" means the numbered Parcels in Hermosa Cemetery, created pursuant to replat of the Cemetery by Neste and Brudin, Civil Engineers.
"Plot" means one or more Burial Spaces or Graves.

12.28.020 - Endowment Care Fund—Naming—Continuance.¶
The "perpetual care fund" is renamed "Endowment Care Fund." Said fund has been and Shall continue to be created by the contribution thereto of a certain portion or percentage of the Sales price of each Burial Space or Grave.

12.28.030 - Endowment Care Fund—Administration authority.¶
The administration of the Endowment Care Fund Shall be under and pursuant to the statutory authority established and promulgated in the Health and Safety Code of the State. The City Treasurer is Designated as the Person charged with administering the fund pursuant to said statutes and this chapter.

12.28.040 - Burial Space price fixing—Rules and regulations adoption.¶
The City Council may, from time to time, by Resolution fix the price for each Burial Space or Grave, and the percentage thereof to be placed in the Endowment Care Fund, and to establish such policies, rules and regulations as from time to time May be necessary and convenient, provided the same Shall not be in conflict with this chapter, other public Law or Laws, or orders or decrees of Court on the subject and Shall be Used for the guidance and information of the public, City, its Employees and agents.
