For the installation of solar photovoltaic systems, if the buildings module coverage is fifty (50) percent or less and conforms to the installation guidelines, the building service division would approve the installation. If the buildings module coverage exceeds more than fifty (50) percent of the roof, it will be reviewed by the local fire authority having jurisdiction to verify access and ventilation requirements are met prior to the issuance of a building permit.

The 1997 Edition of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, published by the International Code Council is hereby adopted by reference. There is one copy of the code on file in the office of the building official for use and examination by the public.
