§ 9.08.100. Public consumption—Unlawful where.

No person shall drink any beer, wine, or other alcoholic beverage on any street, sidewalk, alley, highway, park, or playground or other public property in the city.

§ 9.08.110. Public consumption—Permit required.

This article shall not be applicable to any building or park area utilized by an organized group who have obtained a written permit from the police department of the city for the dispensing and consumption of alcoholic beverages in said specific area.

§ 9.08.120. Chapter provisions not exclusive.

This article shall not be deemed to make punishable any act or acts which are prohibited by any law of the state of California.

§ 9.08.130. Violation—Penalty.

Any person violating or causing the violation of any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment in the county jail for six months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
